Last week, we had the lovely opportunity to visit SeaWorld Orlando! We had no idea what to expect. This was our first visit as a family.
We’ve been to Walt Disney World a few times before but never visited SeaWorld Orlando. My husband grew up in Florida so he visited the park in Elementary School. I also visited SeaWorld in San Diego but I was so young, so I barely remember it.
Entering the park, we really didn’t have a plan. I am more of a planner and my husband is not.
Looking back, I wish we had scheduled our day so we could see more shows! We only caught one show full show and the last 10 minutes of another. However, we still had so much fun! I am sure it would have been even more fun and entertaining to see more shows!
The weather was perfect the day of our visit. We decided to visit SeaWorld Orlando on our last day of vacation, June 17th.
While at the park, we walked around and stopped at every animal display we could! I took so many pictures!
One of our favorite stops was the sea lions! We loved the sea lions because they were so animated! I took so many pictures of them because they were playful and fun to watch!
While we were there, my husband decided to buy food to feed the sea lions! Our son has special needs and loves to throw things. This was perfect for him. He could throw food at the sea lions for them to eat!
As soon as my husband bought the sea lion food, I told him that I wanted to take pictures! I caught a few great pics of the sea lions catching the food!
The sea lions follow you if they see you have food! They will jump up on the rocks or ledge right in front of where you are standing.
After visiting the sea lions, I wish we planned our day to watch the sea lion show!
The one show we did catch was One World with Shamu! Our son didn’t like getting splashed the first time but once he realized it was okay, he wouldn’t stop smiling! We ended our visit with the One World show. We walked around a bit more to give ourselves a chance to dry off.
Overall, we had a great time at SeaWorld Orlando. This was our first vacation in 3 years and 11 months, not that I am counting! It was nice to be in vacation mode, to relax but still get our exercise walking around the parks! We got plenty of fresh air, sun, tanned and exercise on our vacation. My husband and I also got sick and still recuperating.
